The Crest Chargers football squad scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Gaffney Indians to 38 in the Chargers non-league victory on Friday.

The Chargers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burns for a non-league battle on Friday, August 25. Crest will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 42-0 non-league win over Forestview (Gastonia, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Indians play the Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 25. Gaffney will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 47-20 non-league loss to Newberry (Newberry, SC).
