The West Wilkes Blackhawks football team (Millers Creek, NC), was tipped 28-21 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC)

The Cardinals (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Surry Central was tipped by Alleghany (Sparta, NC), 41-18, in a non-league challenge.
