In Friday's non-league game, the R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) football team knocked off the visiting High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), by a score of 41-12.

The Demons (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Cowboys come into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Southwest Guilford was dropped by Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC), 49-30, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bison encounter the T.W. Andrews Red Raiders (High Point, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 25. High Point Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Red Raiders go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 46-18 non-league win over Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC).
