August 18, 2023: Lexington, KY 40503 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Highlands Bluebirds football squad scored a close 34-27 victory over the Lexington Catholic Knights.
In their next game, the Bluebirds clash with the Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 25. Highlands will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Colonels enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 37-22 non-league win over Ryle (Union, KY).
