The Hilltop Cadets football team (West Unity, OH), was beaten 20-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Ridgedale Rockets (Morral, OH)

The Rockets (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Elgin (Marion, OH). The Comets come into the Northwest Central challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Elgin achieved victory over Cardington-Lincoln (Cardington, OH), 30-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Cadets now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Edgerton for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 25. Hilltop will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 28-26 non-league loss to Edon (Edon, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
