The River City Raiders (West Sacramento, CA) football defeated the host Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA), 21-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Raiders face the River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 25. River City will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 22-6 non-league loss to Pioneer (Woodland, CA).

The Fighting Zebras (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA). The Knights enter the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Rio Linda defeated Center (Antelope, CA), 38-32, in a non-league bout.
