The Mineral Ridge Rams (Mineral Ridge, OH) football edged the visiting Pymatuning Valley Lakers (Andover, OH), 29-22 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rams face the Orange Lions (Pepper Pike, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 25. Mineral Ridge will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 49-0 non-league win over Beachwood (Beachwood, OH).
