North Carolina High School Football - Porter Ridge trounces Rocky River

In Friday's non-league match, the host Porter Ridge Pirates football squad scored a big 46-0 victory over the Rocky River Ravens.

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 25. Porter Ridge will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 35-0 non-league win over North Iredell (Olin, NC).

The Ravens (0-1) will now prepare for their match against West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Hawks enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, West Mecklenburg was crushed by Olympic (Charlotte, NC), 42-0, in a non-league match.
