The Portola Tigers (Portola, CA) football nudged the visiting Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons (Reno, NV), 13-6 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 25. Portola will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.

The Falcons (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Los Molinos (Los Molinos, CA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.
