Desert Oasis Diamondbacks (Las Vegas, NV) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Chaparral Cowboys (Las Vegas, NV), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Diamondbacks face the Liberty Patriots (Henderson, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 19. Desert Oasis will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Green Valley (Henderson, NV).
