The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Nelson County (Bardstown, KY). The Cardinals enter the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Nelson County defeated Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats meet the McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 19. Edmonson County will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY).
