August 18, 2023: Poth, TX 78147 Poth Pirates (Poth, TX) backers left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting East View Patriots (Georgetown, TX), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Pirates battle the Pflugerville Connally Cougars (Austin, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 19. Poth will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 1-11 record after their 2-0 league loss to East View (Georgetown, TX).
With the loss, East View drops to 4-13 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX) to battle the Cougars in a 5A Region III District 23 match on Friday, August 18. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 1-8. Pflugerville Connally lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Johnson (Buda, TX)
