The Golden Eagles now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jonesboro for a non-league game on Friday, August 18. Rhea County will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Jackson (Atlanta, GA). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-4.
The Greene Devils (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Cookeville (Cookeville, TN). The Cavaliers enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Cookeville gained a win over Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
