The Peaster Greyhounds topped the host Vernon Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Greyhounds now have a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shallowater for a non-league test on Friday, August 18. Peaster will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Friona (Friona, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-2.

The Lions (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Lindsay (Lindsay, TX). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 2-3 record.
