In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Jackson County Panthers softball squad scored a close 5-4 triumph over the Archer Tigers.

With the triumph, Jackson County upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Panthers host Grayson (Loganville, GA) to play the Rams in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 19. The Rams enter the game with a record of 6-3.

The Tigers now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Grovetown for a 6A Region 4 game on Wednesday, August 20. Archer will play a Warriors squad coming off a 18-2 league win over Heritage (Conyers, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-1.
