Oklahoma High School Softball - Blanchard bounces Weatherford
August 18, 2025: Blanchard, OK 73010 The Blanchard Lions softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Weatherford Eagles to 2 in the Lions non-league win on Monday.
The Lions now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pauls Valley for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 19. Blanchard will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Cache (Cache, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 3-7.
The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop McGuinness (Oklahoma City, OK). The Fighting Irish go into the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Bishop McGuinness toppled Mount St. Mary (Oklahoma City, OK), 10-8, in a non-league challenge.
