North Carolina High School Volleyball - Grimsley can't get by Cedar Ridge

Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Fighting Red Wolves (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Southern Alamance (Graham, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Southern Alamance was nudged by Jordan (Durham, NC), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Whirlies play the Reagan Raiders (Pfafftown, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, August 19. Grimsley will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Raiders go into the test with a 6-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC).
