The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Patrick Henry Patriots (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA), observed Patrick Henry's football squad bounce Mount Miguel by a tally of 42-7.

The Patriots now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Carmel for a non-league contest on Friday, August 27. Patrick Henry will play a Sundevils squad coming off a 33-17 non-league win over Central (El Centro, CA). The Sundevils record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Matadors play the Chula Vista Spartans (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 27. Mount Miguel will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
