The Sachse Mustangs held off the host Coronado Thunderbirds volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mustangs now have a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Decatur for a non-league test on Thursday, August 19. Sachse will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Brock (Brock, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 7-3.
