Kentucky High School Soccer - Carroll County overwhelmed by Spencer County
August 19, 2023: Taylorsville, KY 40071 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Spencer County Bears (Taylorsville, KY) and the visiting Carroll County Panthers (Carrollton, KY), saw Spencer County's soccer squad beat Carroll County by a margin of 4-0.
The Bears now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Nelson County for a non-league test on Monday, August 21. Spencer County will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Whitefield Academy (Louisville, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Carroll County drops to 0-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Switzerland County (Vevay, IN) to meet the Pacers in a non-league test on Monday, August 21. The Pacers come into the test with a record of 3-0. Switzerland County won 6-0 in their recent league test against South Ripley (Versailles, IN)
