August 19, 2023: Ashland, KY 41102 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) and the visiting Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY), saw Blazer's volleyball squad nip Franklin County by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Blazer upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Tomcats travel to Marion County (Lebanon, KY) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 19. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Marion County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY)
The Flyers now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Boyle County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 22.
