The Coventry Comets held off the host Northwest Indians soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league match.

The Comets now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Woodridge for a non-league match on Tuesday, August 22. Coventry will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-2 non-league Waterloo (Atwater, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
