August 19, 2023: Ooltewah, TN 37363 The Ooltewah Owls volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Watertown Purple Tigers to 1 in the Owls non-league victory on Saturday.
The Owls now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Soddy Daisy for a non-league game on Saturday, August 19. Ooltewah will meet a Trojans team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Holy Cross (Louisville, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 0-2.
The Purple Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Green Hill (Mt. Juliet, TN). The Hawks enter the non-league game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Green Hill nipped Mount Juliet (Mt. Juliet, TN), 3-0, in a league game.
