August 19, 2023: Playa del Rey, CA 90293 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Pilibos Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) and the host St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA), saw Pilibos's volleyball squad beat St. Bernard by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Pilibos upgrades its record to 1-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Holy Martyrs Armenian (Encino, CA) to play the Armens in a non-league bout on Friday, August 25. The Armens go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Holy Martyrs Armenian won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Burbank (Burbank, CA)
The Vikings now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to New Roads for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 19. St. Bernard will play a Jaguars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Glendale (Glendale, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-3.
