August 19, 2024: Ayden, NC 28513 The Perquimans Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Ayden - Grifton Chargers to 0 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Monday.
The Pirates now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Neuse Charter for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 22. Perquimans will play a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Ayden - Grifton drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to West Carteret (Morehead City, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 20. The Patriots come into the outing with a record of 0-1. West Carteret lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC)
