August 19, 2024: Wayne, OK 73095 The Alex Longhorns softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Wayne Bulldogs to 1 in the Longhorns non-league win on Monday.
The Longhorns now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a Class A battle on Tuesday, August 20. Alex will encounter a Bronchos team coming off a 8-4 league loss to Fletcher (Fletcher, OK). The Bronchos record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Wayne moves to 1-5 on the season. The Bulldogs host Union City (Union City, OK) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 20. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 4-4. Union City won 13-1 in their recent non-league battle against Amber-Pocasset (Amber, OK)
