Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Cathedral Fighting Irish (Indianapolis, IN), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mt. Vernon improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Marauders travel to Noblesville (Noblesville, IN) to face the Millers in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 21. The Millers go into the test with a record of 1-0. Noblesville won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against North Central (Indianapolis, IN)

The Fighting Irish now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brownsburg for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 21. Cathedral will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Ben Davis (Indianapolis, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.
