The East Rowan Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Central Cabarrus Vikings to 0 in the Mustangs league triumph on Monday.

The Mustangs now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Carson for a South Piedmont 3A outing on Wednesday, August 21. East Rowan will play a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Central Cabarrus drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Vikings host Central Academy (Monroe, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 20.
