August 19, 2025: Somerset, KY 42501 The Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY), 5-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Briar Jumpers now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Pulaski County for a District 47 challenge on Tuesday, August 26. Somerset will encounter a Maroons squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Russell County (Russell Springs, KY). The Maroons record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Clinton County moves to 0-4 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Jackson County (Gainesboro, TN) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 21. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a record of 0-1. Jackson County lost 8-3 in their recent non-league battle against Macon County (Lafayette, TN)
