August 19, 2025: Downingtown, PA 19335 Bishop Shanahan Eagles (Downingtown, PA) fans were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the visiting Archbishop Carroll Patriots (Radnor, PA), 3-0 in a non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Devon Prep for a non-league bout on Friday, August 22. Bishop Shanahan will play a Tide squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Calvary Christian Academy (Philadelphia, PA). The Tide record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Archbishop Carroll moves to 0-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to Springfield Township (Erdenheim, PA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 20.
