August 19, 2025: Punta Gorda, FL 33950 In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the First Baptist Academy Lions.
With the win, Charlotte improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Fightin' Tarpons travel to DeSoto County (Arcadia, FL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Lions now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Naples for a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. First Baptist Academy will meet a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Golden Gate (Naples, FL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
