North Carolina High School Volleyball - Wakefield tips Wake Forest
August 19, 2025: Wake Forest, NC 27587 The Wakefield Wolverines volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Wake Forest Cougars to 1 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wolverines now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Falls Lake for a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 20. Wakefield will play a Firebirds team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Carrboro (Carrboro, NC). The Firebirds record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Wake Forest moves to 1-2 on the season. The Cougars travel to Sanderson (Raleigh, NC) to face the Spartans in a non-league game on Monday, August 25. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 1-3. Sanderson lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Rolesville (Rolesville, NC)
