August 19, 2025: Mercer, PA 16137 In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Mercer Mustangs soccer team scored a close 2-0 triumph over the Franklin Knights.
With the triumph, Mercer advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Grove City (Grove City, PA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-1. Grove City lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA)
The Knights now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Oil City for a District 10 Region 1 test on Wednesday, August 27.
