Georgia High School Softball - Dade County bounces Gordon Central
August 19, 2025: Calhoun, GA 30701 The Dade County Wolverines softball team scored 17 runs and held the host Gordon Central Warriors to 0 in the Wolverines league triumph on Tuesday.
Next, the Wolverines meet the Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 7 challenge, on Thursday, August 21. Dade County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Rebels enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 11-2 league win over Coosa (Rome, GA).
The Warriors (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against Coosa (Rome, GA). The Eagles come into the 1A D-I Region 7 battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Coosa was routed by Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA), 11-2, in a league battle.
