The Lamar Christian Lions softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Meridian HomeSchool FLYERS to 2 in the Lions non-league win on Tuesday.

The Lions now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Laurel Christian for a battle on Thursday, August 21. Lamar Christian will confront a Lions team coming off a 2-0 league win over Centreville Academy (Centreville, MS). The Lions record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Meridian HomeSchool moves to 2-5 on the season. The Flyers host Kemper Academy (DeKalb, MS) to confront the Rams in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 21.
