Texas High School Volleyball - Avalon over Dawson

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Avalon Eagles (Avalon, TX) and the host Dawson Bulldogs (Dawson, TX), saw Avalon's volleyball squad notch a victory over Dawson by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Avalon improves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Meyer (Waco, TX) to encounter the Ravens in a non-league battle on Friday, August 22. The Ravens go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Meyer won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Oglesby (Oglesby, TX)

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Rice Bulldogs (Rice, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 21. Dawson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Milford (Milford, TX).
