Georgia High School Volleyball - Roswell overwhelmed by Gainesville
August 19, 2025: Roswell, GA 30075 The Gainesville Red Elephants topped the host Roswell Hornets volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.
The Red Elephants now have a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Pius X Catholic for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. Gainesville will play a Golden Lions team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA). The Golden Lions record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Roswell drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA) to play the Cougars in a 5A Area 7 outing on Tuesday, August 26. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 6-8. Chattahoochee won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA)
