Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers (Lead, SD) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Bennett County Warriors (Martin, SD), 52-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Lead-Deadwood improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Golddiggers travel to Miller/Highmore/Harrold (Miller, SD) to confront the in a non-league test on Friday, August 27. The come into the test with a record of 0-1. Miller/Highmore/Harrold lost 48-6 in their recent non-league test against Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD)

With the loss, Bennett County drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Wagner (Wagner, SD) to confront the Red Raiders in a non-league test on Saturday, August 28. The Red Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-0. Wagner won 50-0 in their recent non-league test against Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD)
