The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Benton Central Bison (Oxford, IN) and the host Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN), saw Benton Central's volleyball squad nip Floyd Central by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Benton Central upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Bison travel to Milford (Milford, IL) to play the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Monday, August 22. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Highlanders now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Silver Creek for a non-league bout on Monday, August 22. Floyd Central will play a Dragons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Salem (Salem, IN). The Dragons record now stands at 2-3.
