The St. Mary's Episcopal Turkeys held off the visiting Brighton Cardinals volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Turkeys now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Briarcrest Christian for a D II-AA West test on Tuesday, August 23. St. Mary's Episcopal will confront a Saints team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Spain Park (Hoover, AL). The Saints record now stands at 9-1.

The Cardinals (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Covington (Covington, TN). The Chargers enter the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Covington held off Millington Central (Millington, TN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
