August 20, 2024: San Diego, CA 92106 Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Canyon Crest Academy Ravens (San Diego, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Point Loma advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Pointers host Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA) to face the Falcons in a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 0-1. Scripps Ranch lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA)
The Ravens now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Francis Parker for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 21. Canyon Crest Academy will face a Lancers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 1-0.
