Wheeler County Bulldogs (Alamo, GA) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA), 5-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Wheeler County upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA) to play the Red Devils in a 1A D-II Region 4 game on Thursday, August 22. The Red Devils enter the game with a record of 4-2. Hawkinsville won 4-2 in their recent league game against Telfair County (McRae, GA)
