In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Briarcrest Christian Saints volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the St. Mary's Episcopal Turkeys.

The Saints (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN). The Pioneers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, David Crockett was beaten by Tennessee (Bristol, TN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Turkeys meet the DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 21. St. Mary's Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
