August 20, 2024: Gray, TN 37615 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Daniel Boone Trailblazers (Gray, TN) and the visiting Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN), observed Daniel Boone's volleyball team top Volunteer by a count of 3-0.
The Trailblazers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Science Hill (Johnson City, TN). The Hilltoppers enter the AAA District 1 contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Science Hill notched a victory over Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Falcons battle the Union County Patriots (Maynardville, TN) in a AA District 2 contest, on Thursday, August 22. Volunteer will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Austin-East (Knoxville, TN).
