Georgia High School Volleyball - Jenkins over Memorial Day
August 20, 2024: Savannah, GA 31405 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Jenkins Warriors (Savannah, GA) and the host Memorial Day Matadors (Savannah, GA), observed Jenkins's volleyball team top Memorial Day by a count of 2-0.
The Warriors (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Islands (Savannah, GA). The Sharks enter the 3A Area 3 contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Islands was knocked off by South Effingham (Guyton, GA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Matadors battle the Faith Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders (Ludowici, GA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 5. Memorial Day will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record.
