North Carolina High School Volleyball - Apex over Cary
August 20, 2025: Apex, NC 27502 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) and the visiting Cary Imps (Cary, NC), observed Apex's volleyball team top Cary by a tally of 2-0.
The Cougars (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Middle Creek was defeated by Apex Friendship (Apex, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Imps now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Athens Drive for a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. Cary will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-4.
