Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) and the host Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC), saw Middle Creek's soccer squad hold off Apex Friendship by a score of 4-3.

The Mustangs (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Huskies enter the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Hough tipped Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
