August 20, 2025: Winfield, WV 25213 The Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, WV), 10-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Generals now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Robert C. Byrd for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 23. Winfield will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Charleston Catholic (Charleston, WV). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Buffalo moves to 0-1 on the year. The Bison host Williamstown (Williamstown, WV) to battle the Yellowjackets in a non-league contest on Thursday, August 21. The Yellowjackets enter the contest with a record of 0-0.
