North Carolina High School Volleyball - Northwest Guilford over Cornerstone Charter

August 20, 2025: Greensboro, NC 27409

The Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) volleyball defeated the host Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC), 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

The Vikings (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Western Alamance (Elon, NC). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Western Alamance notched a victory over Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Cardinals battle the Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, August 25. Cornerstone Charter will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Nighthawks go into the battle with a 4-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Reagan (Pfafftown, NC).
