Kentucky High School Football - Rowan County tips West Carter
August 21, 2021: Olive Hill, KY 41164 The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) and the host West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY), saw Rowan County's football team hold off West Carter by a score of 23-21.
The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against East Carter (Grayson, KY). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, East Carter nipped Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY), 22-20, in a non-league challenge.
The Comets now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fleming County for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 27.
